Abstract
Purpose: To analyze the clinical and radiographic results after revision total knee arthroplasty using allogenous bone graft on femoral bone defect.

Materials and Methods: We reviewed the records of 38 patients (46cases) who underwent revision total knee arthroplasty using PFC¢ç Sigma Revision system between March 2001 and May 2006. The mean patient age was 71.3 years. The mean follow up period was 52 months and the mean interval between primary and revision total knee arthroplasty was 75 months. We reviewed the results using Knee Society Score system and observed the radiographic changes.

Results: The mean knee score by KSS system was 45.1 preoperatively and was 87.5 at last follow up. The functional score was 37.2 preoperatively and was 80.2 after surgery. The mean tibiofemoral angle was valgus 2.2¢ªpreoperatively and valgus 6.5¢ªat last follow up. All of the allograft united with host bone. There was no evidence of the displacement of grafted bone, bone resorption and loosening of the implants.

Conslusion: We consider the allograft is a useful treatment in patients with femoral bone defect, especially in view of the bone union and the stability of the femoral implant.
